Eric Gardner and I made the front page of the Springfield edition of the Connection Newspaper. Marti Moore caught up to us at The Grounded Coffee a few weeks earlier, interviewed us both and took a few pictures.
November 11 & 12, 2017 Had a table at the Maryland Irish Festival this last weekend in Timonium , Maryland. Met a lot of people, talked about, sold and signed my books, particularly the 'an Trodai' series.
September 8 - 10, 2017 Austin Camacho Throws a great party. The C3Con in Columbia Maryland this year was no disappointment. I sat on three panels and hope the audience got as much from me as I got from them. Once again, the after hours barroom conversations with Jeffrey Deaver, Bill Rapp, Chris Bauer, Eric Gardner and Jonathan Maberry over a few drinks were the highlights.
October 31, 2017 My second book in the Historical Fiction 'an Trodai' series, 'an Trodai: Laoghaire', Is now available in Audio format.
October 12 - 15, 2017 Attended Bouchercon 2017, 'Passport to Murder' in Toronto, Canada. The after hours conversations in the bar with Art Taylor, Eric Gardner, Reed Coleman, Jessica Faust, Matt Iden, Craig Forgrave, Nick Petrie, Puja Guha, Steve Konkoly and many more was the highlight of the trip. Also accepted an invite to submit a short story to Tim O'Mara upcoming anthology 'Down to the River'.
October 19, 2017 Finished work on the audio version of 'an Trodai: Laoghaire'. Should be ready for release in the next week. A big thanks to my narrator, Meral Mathews.
September 23, 2017 I did a book signing at the Fairfax Irish Folk Festival at the Sherwood Center in Fairfax, Virginia. Had more conversations with people than book sales, but made a few new friends and got and invite to two more events.
October 28, 2017 Finished the first draft of my short Story for Tim O'Mara's anthology, 'Down To The River'. Off to my editor, Tanya and her big red pencil.
